Great filters , great value!

These 56mm filters fit perfectly in a CoorsTek 60240 porcelain buchner funnel.I could not get them to fit with Stonylab porcelain buchner filters.They work best with cold water extractions, from my experience, but i have used water alcohol mixtures, solvents such as chloroform, and vacuum filtration of small amounts of concentrated acids, and they seem to hold up well.They work well for filtering fine charcoal, and other fine particulates.I use them almost daily!

The first filter completely disintegrated during a filtration where it wasn't exposed to harsh chemicals, not too alkaline or acidic, etc. Makes me wary of using the remaining 99 in the package.
