Let your dog sniff the muzzle. Give a treat. Repeat a few times. Touch his nose with the muzzle. Repeat a few times. until he indicates that the muzzle looks interesting. Hold the muzzle with one hand and a treat with the other hand, so he needs to put his nose inside，fastenthe buckle. Treat. Remove immediately. Repeat a few times. Gently slip the muzzle onto his nose and give him a treat. Remove the muzzle immediately. Each time you put on the muzzle, gradually increase the time the muzzle is on. Hold his collar and give treats. If the dog isn’t interested in treats, you can substitute other rewards. We use verbal praise, but this is optional. Don’t recommend for small Jack Russell’s
Although this does fit my small jack Russell, it’s bulkiness effects her line of vision and looks like it would rub on her cheek area so I won’t be using. Think this would be an excellent solution for a larger dog but I do not recommend for smaller breeds with a longer muzzle. The straps would need to be much more narrow for this to be wearable for her.

Dog muzzle
This dog muzzle was far to complicated and was absolutely NOTHING like pictured or described, this product was made out of poor quality fabric and the stitching was all unraveled. This was a very disappointing buy. I would not recommend this product.

nothing like the image
nothing like the image, and is terrible. avoid, find something better

Not as pictured, straps around jaw loosen quickly, by themselves.
Was not as pictured, nose/jaw strap too long and fixing was not succure had to double strap back trough the plastic adjuster, 1 slight pull on the strap and it comes off or loosens enough for my dog to get free. My dog is very good, only using it to protect her from accusations as she likes to jump and kiss. Trained her to wear it without scrapping at it and still it comes loose. Only using ot as a visual deterrent until i can source an appropriate replacement. Definitely not suitable for use by the d ring under jaw. For reference we bought the smallest of one, and have a poodle cross.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
Well firstly, what I received looked absolutely nothing like what was pictured so I can only assume it’s not! The fit was horrendous, despite measuring my dog the muzzle was far too small and had zero chance of even remotely fitting (assuming the size chart relates to the actual muzzle in the photo and not the one I was sent). Absolutely would not recommended.
