Vetoquinol Nutri-Cal 4.25 Oz - High Calorie Supplement for Cats and Dogs

This came on time, exactly as expected. I don't notice a smell, it is very thick like a paste but is more of a gel type substance. The contents are dark in color, but not super sticky. The tube it comes in is a bit bigger than the size of a tube of toothpaste. I am caring for a very sick cat and she loves it, actually every cat I have tried this with seem to love it. I have shopped for others similar to this and this seems to be very worth the price. This is intended for as a supplement, not a main source of food intake for ailing animals.

Buy it !!!! My puppies lost their appetite for a few days and no matter what I fed them they didn’t want to eat until I got this product, the first few days I had to force them to eat the paste but then they got their appetite back and now they get all happy when I give them some and they eat their dog food as well , the only bad thing is that it can finish quickly if you have two dogs it can last for only 3 weeks

Our 16 year old cat hardly eats anymore. She really likes this if I squeeze some on a bowl then put some water in it and whisk it up. Definitely helping her keep a little more weight on. Great for elderly kitties.

My dog loves it which is shocking because she’s so picky it drives me bonkers !! It’s also great to help with taking meds and just adding some extra vitamins and nutrients at a value lucky she’s small so I have no complaints as far as quantity but quality is great ! It’s definitely help get her pep back in her step !!

Our cat is 21 years old with a thyroid condition and has lost weight and energy over the past year. He eats and drinks well but is very thin. We started giving him the Nutrical high calorie supplement about a month ago and have definitely seen a change in him. He is much more alert and interactive with us, walks better and has had a slight weight gain. Very pleased with this product. I notice some people mention their cat or dog not liking the taste. I think it takes getting used to. Our cat didn't like it at first and for a week or so we had to sort of rub it into his mouth and he would lick it up. Now he runs to get it and eats it off a spoon!
