I ordered a 2-unit system and had it installed and operational within 2 minutes of unboxing, to connect my wife's office with mine.These are very nice-looking units and functional.The TALK button works fine, and although I would prefer a system which did not require push-to-talk (i.e. full-time open 2-way comms), I do understand why it works this way and it isn't hard to use for anybody who has ever used other intercom systems or a walkie-talkie. Quite intuitive.In my application - 2 rooms at either end of a house, separated by one level - I have no issues with reception or signal strength. Voices are perfectly clear with no interference. So the signal has no issues with walls or floors.I understand that this system will support several more base stations on the same network and also that you can separate discrete networks by frequency, which is a superb feature for larger office or factory environments. Just one I don't need to connect only two rooms.I knew what I was buying and it worked perfectly. If I had to find a single suggestion for improvement it would be to include the batteries. Not having those immediately to-hand makes it inconvenient to move the base stations around to different locations. But this was obviously a considered cost-vs-price point decision.Overall I am very happy with this purchase and happy to recommend for similar applications.

The order comes with two good looking units that are simple to use and are of good quality. The HY 806 has 6 separate channels so you can add up to 6 other HY 806 units for expanded intercom service if you wish. The intercom has a group call and monitor feature as well. The range of the unit seems good. We have ours placed in an all metal pole barn which is about 100 yards from the house and the sound quality is clear with no interference. You can operate the unit with a battery (for about a week) or plug it into a standard wall outlet.

Works great, soo much easier to communicate through the house! You have to hold the talk button down for a couple seconds before you can be heard clearly.

They work great, from Kitchen to detached garage at about 50' away.I wish they could be a bit louder.Didn't come with a battery. An 18650 is what it uses. But it works without a battery also.

Liked the whole thing with compact size and look but it cannot do hands free communications with person in other room in fact does not exist on this unit. Monitoring should better you can listen to the room but not have to alert the person. Press once and hands free two way communication is what I was looking for. Almost there.

Installed these in my house and garage for safety and general communication. Garage is 350 feet away, through the woods and behind another large structure. Unit is plugged into the same outlet in the garage as a refrigerator and no interference. Excellent reception, clear and reliable signal. I especially like the on/off feature. Very easy to install and set up. Highly recommended.

After realizing I had order the wrong subs for my hosmart 616Y I have order the right two subs to give me a total 5 working together subs and one main. One thing to remember that only three subs will work in group mode of the five subs.

These work really well so far very easy to use and just plug-in.

Purchased this product to place one in the workshop and one in the home. It is very simple to use, I was able to easily show small children how to use it. Capable of high volume if you need to call the other line and the person may not be directly beside the monitor.The specs say 1/2 mile range - i tested the range slightly over this and it worked well for us.Further, Ive dealt with Hosmart customer service in the past on other products and was treated well.Great product.

This does what it says, but there is a delay, you have to hold for a second or 2 before talking or it doesn't register. Other than that it's fine and they look good too.
