WiFi Weather Station, (Offical UK Version) Indoor Outdoor Temperature Thermometer, Humidity, Barometric Pressure, Wind direction & Speed, Outdoor Feels Like.

I was looking for an easy to use weather station as my previous one needed quite a bit of setting up to display accurately. I thought I would buy one which connected to the internet via a wi-fi connection. First impressions were good as I was able to connected the device to my network. Please note that the unit will only connect to 2.4Ghz. It functioned fine for about 4 weeks but then it would not receive a wi-fi signal in its original location and try as I could I could not get it to reconnect. It worked fine when placed close to my router. I contacted the seller and was advised to return the unit to them. They even paid for my return postage. They confirmed that after testing the product they could find nothing wrong with the weather station but sent me a new unit in any case. The new weather station is working fine now. I am really impressed with Youshiko's customer service and I know that I have their support in the unlikely event I have any more issues with the product. I would strongly recommend the product as it is very easy to use and set up and would recommend Youshiko as a company which looks after it's customers.

Dreadful instructions in poor English, the App is rubbish and can’t connect to our router, the WiFi button doesn’t do what it’s suppose to do...I just don’t understand the products logic. It almost seems that I’ve got the wrong instructions...?Don’t bother to buy this, go and get a curry take away with your money instead and avoid the head work.

My weather station is up and running well. The information is excellent and very clear. The display is superb. I run mine with an iPad and the downloaded information is interesting. The sensors are excellent and very accurate compared to some I had purchased.I must also say the after sales service is very, very good and I could not fault it.

Product arrived within the time frame agreed. That said, the instructions to install and connect to the Wifi were close to impossible to follow as the manual that came with it didn't seem to match the product in hand. I eventually got there but I was about to lose the will to live.Once I got it to work... all fine... for about 5 minutes when the centre of the screen went almost blank and so the current in/out temperatures were virtually impossible to see. Nothing I did would fix it and then randomly the screen would work fine for a few minutes and then revert to the same problem again.I contacted the seller who I must say were very quick to call me and ask what the issue was. They claim the product worked when dispatched but then and there offered me a full refund and told me to keep the non-functioning item which I find odd as they didn't really challenge my say of events. Makes me wonder if the product really did work as they claim before sending to me. Either way I won't be buying from them ever again!

I had some doubts about this, based on the mixed reviews, but nevertheless asked for it for Christmas.So far, it's a much better unit than I expected. The display is busy but clear and useful, it seems fairly accurate (outside temperature is consistently 0.8C less than my very old Oregon Scientific model - but closer to local forecasts), and the unit (and remote sensor) both seem fairly well made.I did have some trouble setting up (I didn't receive the somewhat pointless email sent to check your email address is genuine on signing up with the app), but Youshiko support responded on Christmas Day - by email and phone - and were able to help resolve the problem. So good marks for customer service. After that, everything was smooth - though the instructions are detailed but very poorly translated, so you have to go through them carefully.Most important, the internet functionality has turned out to be truly useful. There is a four day forecast on the device - which (so far) seems to align roughly with the forecasts from various major providers on my phone (at least as well as they align with each other) and the app, while simple, is reliable and fairly well thought out. Most usefully, it contains historic indoor/outdoor temperature + humidity graphs - something no basic model can do.

Product is not compatible with 5mhz wifi and it is not mentioned anywhere. After wasting a good few hours and giving up, decided to return the item. Not long after submitting the return request had a phone call from Youshiko to help me set it up. Very good service from the company, so after having to disable some settings in my router to make it 2.4mhz all worked well. I was going to give it 4 out of 5 due to this issue and it might deserve only 4 but Youshiko service is very good so I’ll leave it as 5 and with this review, everybody can know that it only works with 2.4 wifi

The item was advertised as used but in full working order The seller refused to accept item was defective photo and video taken eventually providing a return address had to argue about return postage seller then Agreed to refund postage 2nd class only. A poor customer experience all round

Firstly I purchased the Youshiko YC9460 and it arrived in 2 days which I was very impressed with. Secondly, it's a very good basic weather station. When connected to wifi, it gets its 5 day forecast from the internet. It has a small module that you situate outside not in direct sunlight or where rain can get to it easily. This gives you the outside temperature and humidity. The app on Android does allow remote access to the external module enabling you to check temperature etc from anywhere. So far seems like a good weather station, time will tell if the extenal module lasts in the British weather!
