This is a semi-novelty semi-purpose stand. It makes me smile when I look at the spidery legs and it puts my iPad up to a height I prefer viewing so it’s definitely functional and has its perks. My protective case doesn’t have a high enough angle for viewing so I was looking for a stand that was portable and this falls into the category for sure. It’s lightweight. Easy to bend and move and take from room to room. The top gripper is secure. I just would feel more secure if my protective case fit in the gripper and it doesn’t. So I’ll be extra careful when using it to make sure it doesn’t fall and break the screen and I’ll prob make sure I use it in a rom with carpet.

I use an amazon fire with a thin case and it does the trick. I have always had trouble setting up the amazon fire, with its standard flip-up case, in a good viewing position in bed. This spider stand has very much solved this issue. I still have some trouble making sure the amazon fire tablet sits up straight in the stand, but other wise I am very very happy with my purchase. Unfortunately, the stand does not compact down to a manageable size after use so doesn't expect to put it away at the end of each night.

It’s a fairly decent device stand and does work on the bed. I would have preferred it be a bit taller, but it will work. This stand is going to be best for smaller, lighter weight devices. I have an iPad 9.7” and while it will hold it, it’s not as stable as it could be. The legs are a flexible metal that can be adjusted, but under the weight of a heavier device, that’s not a good thing. The clip that holds the device seems to work really well with the iPad and you can shift positions of the device based upon preference. All-in-all worth the money.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Having arthritis in both my hands, it was hard for me to hold my iPad for any length of time. This works for playing games, surfing the web, or watching movies and makes the activities so much more enjoyable.

Not as bendable and easy to use like illustrated. While strap is sturdy to hold larger phones the stand itself isnt wide enough when using a bulky cover. It has snapped my screen protector twice right off the phone.

It help me to hold the iPad, which is kind of heavy if hold for long time. The design is easy to use, just worry what I can get a replacement in case the elastic band broken.

So my cats are a little bit scared of it but I love it. I can easily watch a movie on my phone or tablet in bed. I also use it with my kindle.

Bought for my dad for birthday. He seems to love it.
