Works well with Gardyn Y cubes
Works well for y cubes in the Gardyn hydroponic system. Slightly small dimension might work better, but this works well.

Kinda spendy, but quality rock wool
Kinda spendy for rock wool. But they did throw in a measuring card so that’s kinda cool. Rock wool is definitely a go to for planters.

Perfect for seedlings. No mess, no dirt
Used these to start my kale lettuce seeds. They come with a tiny hole in the center to simply drop the seeds in, i used a toothpick to press them down snugly. The pods fit perfectly into the seedling starter tray. They are firm, but have enough flex for a nice snug fit. Planted 2 seeds in each pod, wet them down with my aquarium fish tank water and set under an inexpensive grow light. Pics are the results 1 week later. Rockwool is the best. No dirt, no mess, and almost instant seedlings. Little pricey compared to soil but worth every penny IMO.

Hydro cubes for the win
Normally I use alternatives to rock wool but since I’m experimenting with hydro peppers this year I figured I’d give these a try.Benefits: hold moisture, roots have no issue growing through these, they fit nicely in my 3inch net pots and they do not fall apart like other brands.Would recommend
