RockportMen's Style Leader 2 Apron Toe Oxford

Found these in a shoe warehouse a year back for 90 dollars, extreamly light dress shoes that are comfortable and stylish. I work 12-14 hour shifts on my feet about 6 days a week at a retail giant, and I constantly get compliments about my shoes as well as questioned how i can work in dress shoes all day! Very pleased that i found these on amazon for 50 bucks on sale, since the nature of my work means i burn through shoes very quick. (3 to 5 months, whether its dress shoes or sneakers. I would recommend gell inserts, not with just these but with any dress shoe if you will be standing long :)

I bought these for my husband, who travels on business to NYC, where he does a lot of walking. We were looking for a shoe that is appropriate for the office and would also be a comfortable walking shoe. This shoe fit the ticket. It looks nice and is very comfortable for walking around the city. This shoe didn’t require any break-in period. He wore them on his trip, fresh out of the box, and didn’t experience any discomfort or blisters. The shoes are holding up well and still look new after several weeks of wear.

These shoes are great. This is the fifth pair I’ve purchased. The first four were easily resoled three times apiece. I got my first pair on the recommendation of an older shoe salesman in a up-scale department store – they were the shoe he was wearing when I asked his recommendation – he said he was on his feet eight hours a day and that while he could have sold me more expensive shoes, he knew that as an elementary school teacher I was on my feet as much as he was and that these were the shoes to get. As soon as I get them, I have heel and toe plates put on, remove the laces, polish/wax them extensively with Kiwi, and put 30” Cordo-Hyde waxed laces on them. I also identical pairs them in cordovan and brown. Can you tell that I like them? ;-)

I wanted a fairly inexpensive pair of dress shoes for work and decided to give these a try. They aren't the most formal looking shoes but they are very comfortable. The only issue I've found is that the cushioned insoles that makes these shoes so comfortable seems to wear out very quickly. I've gone through two pairs of these shoes now and the insoles in both had holes in them after a couple months. I'm sitting at a desk in an office setting most of the day so I'm not really even walking around in them that much.

These are very comfortable and have very little break-in. They breathe well (absorb and 'wick away' sweat). They are nice work shoes, but I wouldn't wear them as dress shoes. I am usually a size 12 shoe. I tried on a size 12 and it was a bit small/narrow, so I went with a 13 which is a drop larger than I need, but better than being tight. I actually put these shoes up against my previous pair (size 12) of another brand and they were just a drop larger. So far, so good.Update 1/12/16: after 8 months of moderate to heavy use the laces are now fraying and the tread on the soles are worn out, but I would still consider this a good shoe considering the fact that I got 8 months out of it.

I had to return these shoes prior to even wearing them. The leather had scuffs on the toe and the glue was visible where the leather and sole meet. It really looked like the shoes had been abused and then someone tried to use hot glue to stick them back together.It's a shame really. My last pair of Rockports held up great for several years. I was hoping for the same thing this time too.

Great dress shoes, so glad I found them.These dress shoes are not only stylish, they fit great and are of great quality. I used to only wear flat bottom Tux shoes in the harsh MN weather (luckily I've never fallen in the snow with those shoes).With these shoes and it's great grip/tread, I've got no issues walking in the snow to my classy events.Definitely would get them again, they are comfy.I'm a 400lbs 6'1" size 16US shoe male.

These are lightweight and comfortable shoes. They were a little longer than expected, but not as long as an "Italian style" shoe. The tread is secure and do not squeak on a polished or wood floor. I recommend these shoes for an average sized foot for comfortable and clean elegance. I have also been well served by the durability of Rockport Shoes and have no doubt that this pair will also perform well in the long run.

Fits well and is light to wear. Leather is soft and as dress shoes they look nice.Is True to Size for 10.5, however sole is about 1cm too long compared to other similar 10.5 dress shoes. (- 1/2 star)Sole feels very soft, so will wait and see how the sole wears and update if it wears poorly.For the cost, the inside lining should be leather (-1/2 star)

Lightweight,comfortable, and quality leather. Sole does not seem to be durable though.

The colour was different than the photo. Shoes are very light weight and comfortable.
