A Must Have Health Reference!
I am a Nurse, Massage Therapist, Herbalist and Reiki Master so I have studied intensely about health management on many levels and I have to say that this book is the most comprehensive book I've ever come across in that it contains the most information on the widest range of "tools" in the toolbox of health. It is full of truth and dispels many of the myths our culture has learned to depend on for staying healthy or preventing or treating disease, such as "the sun will give you skin cancer". Well, you don't have to look far to see that we are a nation full of sick, doped up and dumbed down people. Finally, someone has come forth to present REAL information that we desperately need in this age of pharmaceutical greed, complete medical incompetence and health insurance nightmares! You won't agree with everything and you will have to turn the cog of your thinking one or two clicks to open up to some of these powerful secrets but you WILL benefit even if you just try a few of the practices Andreas has written about. I also love that he includes the mental and emotional aspects of diseases such as cancer as this is HUGE in the formation or treatment of ANY disease and something our current medical model has completely ignored. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone as even with my vast knowledge, I too, have learned a few things and continue to enjoy increasing good health by incorporating this profound wisdom into my life! Andreas is best known for his famous liver and gallbladder flush which will do wonders for a clogged up system. For too long we have been overly concerned with the cleanliness and beauty of our external bodies while dumping garbage in our bodies day after day. It's time to start cleansing our inside and this book is full of wonderful ways to do just that. I would venture to say this book could be the bible of good health! Thank you Mr. Moritz for your years of study and for sharing your knowledge with us! I give it 10 stars!

The Ultimate Manual for Conscious Living
Moritz's comprehensive book about how to take care of yourself by eating and living right in the 21st Century is right on the money. While modern doctors are great for treating trauma, accidents and the like, they are deeply interconnected with modern food industries (meat, dairy, junk food, etc) to keep people sick so that they can continue treating the symptoms with pharmaceuticals. Timeless Secrets of Health and Rejuvenation explains all of this, but more importantly, it explains how one can live in modern times by following a non animal protein diet that will help benefit the planet as well. The author covers so many topics about diet and holistic living in this book that it immediately became my reference book for food, diet, alternative healing, and compassionate living. His expose on the medical and food industries really helps one to understand why the USA (and most other developed countries) are as sick, overweight and contaminated as they are. Fortunately, he offers solutions such as the liver cleanse,etc to restore one's body back to health, and then tells what kinds of foods are optimal for one's body type (Ayurvedic medicine). This book has a plethora of information that is organized nicely that the reader can take it in without being completely overwhelmed.If you want to learn how to restore and maintain your health, I highly recommend that you check this book out. It is a good read, and the information might just help you change the way that you think and that your body feels. It did for me.Thank you, Andreas.

Long book with interesting viewpoints on timing of eating, foods, and sleep
The beginning starts out well, with some very interesting viewpoints on letting the body find its own balance with the cosmic clock and heal itself, but then he gets off on 'typing' the body (East Indian version of ectomorph, mesomorph, and endomorph, with a zodiac-like twist) and calling eating meat 'eating cadavers' (yuck!), showing his highly biased viewpoint. Few 'blind' medical or nutritional studies are quoted to validate anything as he goes along, besides those on the placebo effect.Everyone agrees that eating colorful fruits and vegetables are good for you, but most vegetarian diets replace the normal eggs, fish, and meats with fats (nuts, avocado, etc) and gluten 'veggie' products, which is not any better. Those 'veggie' products that mimic other foods are all highly processed and not good for you. Statistics show most vegans die at the same age and rate as everyone else due to the imbalances of their diet (few can do it perfectly) and the high carbs. There have been studies of 'sometimes' meat/fish/egg eaters who also eat a lot of vegetables and some fruits ('nutritarians'), and they seem to come out the healthiest in the unbiased studies I've read, but the author never seems to mention those studies.I would say the book is worth reading just for the interesting viewpoint on timing and the natural rhythms of the stomach's and guts digestive juices and sleep, if you have problems with either one.
