Truth review. Tough and timeless.
Yes, there are cheaper mic stands. No, it’s not light or easy to carry. So why buy it? Because it lasts and is a classic. The weight, feel and easy adjustability just make this the perfect engineered mic stand that you want to grow old with and still use 30 years from now. It doesn’t degrade or need to be improved. Buy one. You won’t regret owning it.

Good old standard stand.
Standard of the industry with cast iron base with standard corded mic attachment.

Great as Standard Mic Stands. Even Better as Light Stands!
As affordable basic (low profile) mic stands, these Pyle stands work well, for a very fair price. The base is compact and heavy enough for proper stability, and the height adjustment works well. What I really love using these stands for, however, is as more compact light-stands for wand lights (such as these https://amzn.to/3KWLA0p ) around the house. By using the Pyle mic stands instead of the light tripod stands that come with the lights, I can place the lights in tighter spaces, with less to trip over, and it is definitely an upgrade in stability. Depending on which lights you use, do a quick check to make sure the light's mounting area matches the size of the Pyle, but so far, I've had success with a number of light fitting perfectly, and for those that don't, there are always plenty of adapter options.

Sturdy mic stand
Seems to be a pretty sturdy mic stand ,the bottom is heavy enough to hold stable, even with my mic boom on , worth the money

Basic & Solid Choice
I teach music and need the simple, durable, & stable mic stands for students who aren't always as used to a professional musician fiddling with a mic stand. These deliver all the basics for a reasonable enough price, and though they don't have the flexibility of a boom stand also have fewer problems than a similarly priced boom with more moving parts. My only complaint (which I imagine is true of pretty much every budget round base stand) is that when you are trying to loosen it the whole pole sometimes spins in the base but that isn't a deal breaker for me.

Good solid heavy base
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Price and reviews Solid base is heavier than others. Using these with large diameter condenser mics for group sound reinforcement. Didn’t want to use tripod mics as they’re more susceptible to being knocked over. Buying another.

Very weak
Broke at the base of the pole again. Only used it for about two weeks. It’s very weak near the threads. This is the second one that broke like this. I will not be getting a third one

Easy setup! Height adjustment is easy and smooth! The weight is great, not too heavy but it’s sturdy so that’s great!
