Great Lamps
I got these at a great deal. Thought shades would be glass. If I wanted glass I would have to pay more. Even though plastic they look great. I have 4 of them

Cannot hold 300V constantly
It only supports up to 225V; otherwise, the light will flicker. Even so, it’s still lighter than other lamps.

Disappointing
I needed to replace my halogen torchiere lamps because they stopped working. I loved those lamps because they gave off 300 watts of bright white light and worked for a very long time. These lamps were the only ones that came close to giving off as much light so I was hopeful. The lamp shade on these is plastic & cheap. The bulbs seem to blow on them after a couple months of use. It is very disappointing. The description also said you can use a 3 way bulb. We tried that and there are only 2 levels of brightness and then off. Not sure why they have you rate a remote because there is no remote.

the shade was cracked, the switch did not work, and the advertised bulb description inaccurate
It works for us. We turned the cracked shade to the wall. We plugged it into an outlet controlled by a switch on the wall. We had received the light bulbs advertised to work on this lamp, when we received the lamp the insert said a different type was required. We ordered the required bulbs.

great indirect light
I use this lamp in the room where I need lots of light, and this works great, bouncing bright light off the ceiling to illuminate the whole room

Switch broken after less than a year
I wish I had read the other reviews more carefully. You'll see a lot of people mentioning that their on / off switch broke. This happened to me after 9 months and now my lamp is useless.

Adesso 7506-22 Glenn 300-Watt Floor Lamp, Brushed Steel
Love my new lamp! It has a good strong, brightness. I didn't include a picture because the picture wouldn't show the true brightness of the lamp. I tried to take a picture, but it didn't do it justice. I would buy this lamp again. If you really want to brighten your room more, you could get another lamp too. I considered doing this, and still might; but, for right now, I'm just going to make use of a mistake lamp I bought (before this one) which is nowhere near the Adesso lamp's brightness. I love this lamp. Glad I bought it.
