Did the trick and saved me a bundle of money. Easy to install...Buy immediately!
The media could not be loaded. I followed a YouTube video on how to install this part. I didn’t take the washer apart until I received this replacement coupler. I took the chance because all the articles I googled indicated that this would be the problem. You can see from the picture that the old one fell apart as soon as I removed the motor. After about an hour to an hour and a half which includes pausing the YouTube video, I have the new part installed and as you can see from the video it is working wonderfully. So $7.99 save me from paying someone over $200 or having to purchase a new washer. Great part so far I have done about six loads of laundry with zero issues. Buy with confidence and have a few simple hand tools ready and you too can save a boatload of money and continue to use the tried and true washer that you’re comfortable with. Great job guys with a fair price on a great part!

Lifesaver and money saver!
Lifesaver! When I googled "washing machine motor on not spinning" I saw some very concerning results with expensive and difficult repairs. Then I tried "washing machine grinding noise not spinning" and found a YouTube video that helped me diagnose my problem (a cracked piece of plastic, less than $7 to replace on Amazon, a great value at ~1/100 the cost of a new washer). Package arrived a night earlier than expected, and I had the new piece in (easy to install) and was running a load in ten minutes. My non-high-efficiency classic deep-filling washing machine is irreplaceable. With the help of Amazon and YouTube I have replaced most of the plastic parts that can fail (agitator dogs, lid switch, balance ring, and now this coupling). This replacement has metal though, which will make it even more durable. Machine has run for 20 years and now it's running better than on its last load a week ago. So grateful I could find this part!
